Senior Designer/Creative Lead, New Media Factory, Cambridge, 1995 – 1998

New media, design and communications consultancy, Delivering Web and intranet, online media solutions to a full range of corporate clients. Providing; creative direction, design of web interfaces, Board level presentations, creative strategy, facilitating brainstorming sessions, mentoring designers.

Key projects:

Financial Times Group: Design of the initial release of the FT site, and provided design consultancy to the FT in-house new media publishing division on the next generation of the site.

Channel 5 Broadcasting: Creative Director for original online implementation of the Channel 5 brand. Design of the web site, and coordination of the creative and production team.

Nationwide Football League: (96 – 97 season) New Media Factory won the contract to design the premier soccer site in the UK. Partnering with The Press Association, Motiv Systems and UUNET. I was responsible for the overall creative direction, and design of both the graphic and functional aspects of the site.

1999 Marketing Award winner - Bus Industry Awards for work for Cambridgeshire County Council: ‘Key Routes’ transport initiative.
